Are lip fillers painful?
Topical anaesthetics are used to numb the area and reduce pain 30 minutes before a procedure.
How long does the appointment lasts?
The treatment usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
Are your consultations free?
All of our consultations are charged at £25 no obligation.
You will be provided with advice and information relevant to achieve the results you desire.
And the £25 will be deducted from the cost of your treatment.
What happens when you have lip filler?
We like to review treatment plans with you, while an anaesthetic cream will be used to numb your skin (this will take around 30 minutes). Injections are given in the lips (body of the lips, vermillion boarders, cupid's bow as discussed in the consultation); if you like, we can give you a little preview of treatment results to make sure you are happy with the treatment before we finish.
We also like to hear your point of view in terms of symmetry, shape, as most of our clients enjoy being part of the treatment, especially when you are having it for the first time. Before we finish we make sure your lips are smooth and free from bumps and lumps; we also teach you how to massage them.

DAY 1 - They are too swollen! I don’t think I like them they are too noticeable! How do I reverse it?

After the treatment?
The treated area maybe a bit red, sore and swollen. Any swelling or brusing should settle down in a few days.
You will be adviced about what to do to help reduce the risk of any side effects.
This includes not wearing make up immediately after the procedure and avoiding alcohol, sun exposure, sun beds ,saunas or vigorous exercise for 48 hours (or as advised by your clinician).
So if you are planning to attend a special event, it's important to plan your treatment 2/3 weeks beforehand.
Some over the counter medicines and supplements can also affect bleeding, making you more prone to bleeding and bruising.
